The San Francisco Boat Show brought all of the key players in the Bay Area marine industry to Pier 48 and McCovey Cove this past weekend to show off their wares to the public. There were plenty of dream boats available for purchase but the volunteers at SailSFBay.org were also present passing out free information to enthusiastic visitors. We had a great looking booth with representatives from our local sailing partners (Treasure Island Sailing Center, Afterguard Sailing Academy, San Francisco State, Latitude 38) taking turns throughout the 4 day event recruiting new sailors and answering all the important questions.
If you missed the boat show you can always learn how to “Go Sailing” by clicking around on this site. However, it is always nice to make a personal connection and meet the friendly faces and hardworking people of San Francisco Bay that want to share their passion for sailing with you! SailSFBay.org will be making its next booth appearance at the Strictly Sail Pacific boat show in April followed by Summer Sailstice in June. See you then!
Thank You to the volunteers that made the event a success for SailSFBay.org including Patrick, Dylan, Kevin, Annie, Mike, and John.
Thanks to the volunteers who staffed the booth!
